What exactly does the live photo check verify?+
The liveness check confirms that a real, present person completed sign-up — not a pre-recorded video, static image, or AI-generated media. It does not verify your legal identity or name.
Does RealMeet store my selfie or biometric data?+
Your live selfie images are used only to confirm liveness and are then deleted automatically. If you complete optional identity verification, your selfie and identity document are reviewed manually by an authorised reviewer and then automatically and securely deleted after the decision. RealMeet does not create or retain biometric templates, facial embeddings, or facial-recognition profiles, and does not use your images for advertising, matching, ranking, or profiling.
What is the optional identity verification?+
For members who want a higher level of trust, we offer optional identity verification. It is currently carried out manually by specially authorised RealMeet reviewers who compare your selfie and identity document. Access is restricted and logged, and your raw images are securely deleted after the decision — only a limited, non-image record is kept. It is entirely optional.
Is RealMeet free to use?+
RealMeet offers a free tier with core matching and messaging features. Premium features are available through a clearly disclosed subscription. Prices, renewal terms, and cancellation rights will be shown transparently before any purchase.
How do I report abusive behaviour?+
Every profile and message in the app has a report button. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. You can also block any user instantly, and you have the right to appeal any moderation decision that affects your account.
Is RealMeet available on Android?+
RealMeet is currently iOS-only and available now on the App Store. Android support is on our roadmap.
